Our sales manager wants to take his analysis a step further and use B.I. (Business Intelligence). To do this, we have two classification modules that enable us to perform multi-value analysis. This means that for one customer, we can set several values.
Sectors, ioi Customer sector. #

In this module, identified as ioi Customer Sector, we define the sectors covered by the customer.
At present, we have listed these:

Activities, ioi Customer activity #

In this module, identified as ioi Customer Activity, we define customer activities.
At present, we have listed these:

Examples of multi-value allocation of these commercial classifications for a customer #
Examples:
3 activities have been included for one customer:

Historical and non-historical classification analysis of your results #
The great thing is that families (1&2) as well as sectors and activities are recopied each time a document associated with a customer is created in these documents:
ioi Opportunity,Sales Offer,Sales Order,Sales Delivery,Sales Invoice.
Astuce
This means that your B.I. statistics can be classified according to these classification elements, which are either in the data record or in the document.
Example:
A customer has changed activity from one year to the next. This change has no impact on the previous year’s figures. You can make analyses for a sector if you organize your B.I. classification on the documents. However, if the analyses are based on customer-defined classifications, your previous year’s figures will change.
