Short Label #
It is now possible to define specific column titles in the item grid.This allows you to optimize the use of the available screen space.
Adding Notes and Memos to the Sale #
A dedicated button is now available to add remarks or a memo to the sale.
Selling What Is Physically in Stock #
(and not only what is in stock in the system)
- Scan or select an item.
- By default, the system allows you to sell a product even if the quantity in Silicon ioi is insufficient.
Example: A customer takes 2 bottles of champagne from the shelf, while the system indicates that only 1 bottle is in stock → you can still sell the 2 bottles because they are physically in front of you.
- In this case:
- The first line appears in orange.
- The OverStk Qty field shows the missing quantity.
- A Missing stock check alert is also displayed.
Ordering What Is Not in Stock #
In some cases, the item requested by the customer is not available and must be ordered.
- If there is a stock shortage, an Order button appears.
- To place this order, you must identify the customer:
- Select an existing customer.
- Create a customer directly online.
- Change the customer during the sale.
- A confirmation message is displayed.
- The system then creates a sales order and removes these items from the POS sale.
