User guide — recording time from an appointment

Clocking is done from an appointment in the « Multi-agenda ».

This is not a stopwatch: the duration is recorded in one go, on validation.

Note

Clocking is only possible on an appointment (« Event ») — not on a task (« ToDo »).

1. Creating or opening an appointment #

With the « + Event » button, at the top right of the « Multi-agenda ».

  • Give it a title, a date and a start/end time.
  • Add at least one operator as a participant (a user linked to an Écranioi Staff record).
  • Then add what the time relates to: a dossier, a production order, a ticket, an order, a customer or a workstation — depending on the case.

Note

The appointment must be dated today or on a date already past to be clocked (not in the future), and last 16 hours maximum. (configurable in Écranioi Division)

2. Starting the clocking #

  • Click on the appointment in the calendar.
  • In the panel that opens, click the clock icon, at the top right.

Appointment open: the clock icon starts the clocking

A window shows the information of the appointment: duration, activity type, customer, distances. Check it, then validate.

Note

The exact details (dossier/ticket, workstation, rate) remain viewable and editable in the tabs next to « General ».

3. Once recorded #

The clocking goes straight to the « Posted » status. Unlike clocking on a tablet, there is no « paused » then « stopped » step: the duration is fixed as soon as it is validated.

Note

Only the operator concerned (or an authorised profile) can modify or restart a clocking that has already been posted.
