Define your different business sites here.

The distinction between sites allows you to:

• Differentiate inventories between sites, both in terms of quantity and value.
• Differentiate item management behaviors. For example, in terms of procurement and manufacturing policy (one site manufactures, the other site buys from the other site).
• Distinguish purchase prices by site.
• View other sites’ inventories at any time.
• Isolate sales and purchasing flows between sites.

The distinction between sites does not allow :

• A simple transfer between two stores. You will be obliged to make deliveries and receive goods. Billable or not. To be configured. This allows you to include transport costs and transport times between sites. This requires cross-site configuration.
• You’ll need to create ‘inter-company’ supplier accounts with transfer pricing policies based on costs with margin or agreed inter-company rates.

Associating a site with a division #

Each site must be associated with a division:

Parameters per site #

Vecteur temps / Time vector. You can define the granularity of the delivery/receipt and processing forecast in the vector per site.

• Either by day, which is the usual standard,
• Or per hour, which is a very high standard.

Automated processing (server) for periods #

From the ioi Division module:

• Automatic creation (by division) of periods for the next fiscal year when 60 days from the end of the last existing period,
• Automatic opening/closing (by division) of periods. Processing tested and triggered if necessary every day at midnight + 1min.
