You’ll always have access to this top banner:

1. The ioi icon jumps to “Home”:

Simply click on this icon to return to your start screen.

2. The Awesomebar search box.

A sort of internal “Google search”, this is your main search tool for direct access to applications, settings, your route history, documents and even, if you set it up, your data.

Simply place your cursor in the zone and you have access to the history of your last navigations in Silicon ioi.

Example:

Type ioi client, and the system will propose a set of accesses relating to the client module.

You’ll see later that there are many tricks behind this search box.

3. The “Chat” between users.

Open or close the “Chat” application at any time:

Yes, Silicon ioi contains a module for dialoguing with users connected to the ERP. Either internal users or web users.

4. Access to notifications.

The system where other users notify you of something to do or distribute information. Notifications can be set in time.

Here you’ll find information on the version of the software you’re using.

This information is invaluable for any support request.

6. The system menu, with your login initials (here, with A for “Administrator”) :

The icon represents an A because the writer of this documentation is logged in as administrator.

Here’s a brief explanation of those generally available:

6.1 My profile.

Here you’ll find a summary of your activity. This will give you “energy points”.

Refer to the energy points.

6.2 My settings.

If you have access to the user module, this will take you to your profile.

6.3 Default session.

Modification is reserved for the system administrator. The system administrator can set a default session according to the application in order to speed up certain processes.

6.4 Reload.

Clears your browser’s local cache and reloads the current page. This can be useful, especially when updating software versions.

6.5 View website (web/office toggle).

Allows you to switch to web mode (public access) while still logged in. Once in web mode, you’ll have a menu to switch back to desktop mode (“desktop”): “Switch to desktop mode”.

If you can’t find it. Simply add /app to the base URL of your Silicon ioi application.

6.6 Switching to full-width display.

Need more display space? Ask to hide the left side.

6.7 Toggle theme.

Two themes are available:

• Dark mode: “Timeless night”,
• Light mode: “Frappé Light”.

6.8 Logging out.

To formally log out of Silicon ioi.
