Light client with HTML5 browser #
The interface is based on the HTML5 web. The client side is developed in java script (JS).
The interface is responsible, so you can resize your browser to the size of your smartphone screen.
Dark and light modes are operational and ready to use.
No application to install on your desktop. Simply open your web browser. Silicon ioi is tested with all major web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). For the best ioi experience, we recommend Chrome.
Device detection for documents and image capture. Integrated and connected camera.
Database independence, using the best databases on the market. #
Silicon ioi uses a high-end O.R.M. (Object relationship manager) to address the database.
This layer makes Silicon ioi database-independent.
Our starter package includes two open databases: MariaDB or PostgreSql. MariaDB is the default database.
Pay particular attention to product licenses, especially with MariaDB if you are connecting directly to this database.
You can connect your own B.I. to the database or any other tool (see Maria DB license).
Stable, powerful backend #
The core engine is developed in Python. This language is recognized worldwide as one of the top 10 development tools for the backend. Python has a huge community, and many add-ons are available. Backend monitoring tool for client-side users.
Built-in consistency #
Silicon ioi uses a built-in MRO to guarantee consistency. Data import respects consistency rules. All database modifications are carried out via secure transactions with standard commit and rollback. Backups and restores are carried out in compliance with integrity rules.
