Kit Management, Manual Mode

You can manage and use kits of items in Silicon ioi.

Objective #

Instead of manually adding each item to a document, you can insert a pre-defined kit.\nA kit consists of a list of items and can be added to your document with or without the main “call item.”

Procedure #

Define the kit components #

• In the BOM Release Management module, create a list of items with their respective quantities.

Sales & Purchase Integration #

• In the Kit Panel, designate the list as a kit.
• Specify whether the call item should be kept in the document.

Intégration aux ventes et achats #

• If the kit is used in a sales or purchase workflow, the sales/purchase conditions in the document may be overridden.
• Activate the kit in the BOM Release Management module.

Using the kit in a document #

• In the item field of any document, type the kit name and wait for the dropdown menu to appear.
• Select BOM/Kit Search.

• Choose the desired kit and optionally set a multiplier to adjust quantities.
• Select or deselect the predefined Keep Call Item option.

Finalization #

• The kit populates the document lines with the included items, with or without the call item.
• In sales or purchase workflows, Silicon IOI will attempt to retrieve the corresponding prices.
