Color Association to an Item or Manufacturer Catalog #
It is now possible to assign a specific color to an item or to a manufacturer catalog, in order to enhance clarity and make daily management more intuitive.
Purpose: #
Improve visibility of certain item types. For example:
- Use a specific color for service items
- Another color for spare parts
- And so on
How to proceed: #
Access IOI Item Budget, then assign a color through one of the following journals:
- IOI Info Journal
- IOI Purchases Journal
- IOI Sales Journal
- IOI WMS Journal
- IOI Dossier Journal
- IOI Production Journal
Then, make sure to include this identification in the corresponding item record:
Important Notes: #
- The item budget field is automatically copied into all child records using the populate function. It is therefore considered historical information.
- Only new lines created using the item’s populate function will include the updated budget ID.
Example:
In this example, contract items are color-coded.\nNote the All mode (all journals):
- The color also appears in the prefix selection.
- Other documents with a different prefix do not display any color.
If the list is filtered to show only documents with that specific prefix, the banner will automatically adopt the defined color.
