When you’re on the form for such a module, you’ll see a set of colored pavement or arrow buttons representing possible system states. As follows:
The current state of the data is highlighted. Each status represents a situation for the data item in question.
The left and right sides of the blocks or arrows are different depending on whether the status is :
- A starting state,
- an intermediate state
- a final arrival state.
There can be more than one start or end state.

This document is in partial execution status. Partial deliveries have yet to be made. This document is partially active. |
| 4 | Delivered |
This document is in full execution status. It is inactive. It is inactive. |
| 5 | Back-order / Reserved |
This document is in a partial state of execution, it has been subject to partial deliveries and reservations. |
| 6 | Reserved / Back-order |
This document is in partial state of completion, and has been delivered and reserved. |
| 7 | Lost |
This document is no longer active. The order is inactive because it has been aborted. |
The transition from one state to another is secured by system rules.

Buttons may be grayed out if you are not allowed to select a state.

Buttons can be used to change state. However, some buttons don’t allow you to change a document’s state directly, as it depends on linked documents. For example, the status of a purchase order will depend on the deliveries actually made.
Buttons marked with a + allow you to create the documents that will enable you to achieve this status. For example, create a delivery note for this order:
The linked document will always open in a new tab by default, so that the original document remains visible.
